Fed up with a traditional book club where few people were showing up for meetings anymore and even fewer were reading the books, we decided to form an online group. This way, we can have an actual, well thought-out conversation about a novel or book and nobody even has to clean their house.

Several people are behind or out of town... No worries and Stolie - let me know what I can do to help. I've got stuff marked in my copy of the book and will be forming questions for the group in the next couple of days...

Glad to know that I'm in good company and that I'm not the only one who is a bit behind. :) I can't help it; I'm taking in a bunch of screenings at the Tribeca Film Festival.
Should we begin the discussion a little later? Is May 12th a realistic "finish the book by" date or is that too late?
I'm shaking out a creative way to launch the discussion. Can everyone send me their email addresses and/or Mama C, if you have them all, can you send them to me? stoliexoxo @ yahoo?
